My design journey began long before it would be a career.
Growing up in both Massachusetts and London, my early childhood was an unintentional education in design. Decorating childhood bedrooms were basic lessons in form vs. function, early travel throughout Europe and Asia unwittingly gave me exposure to architecture, language, and cultural diversity, and later, studying Classics at Holy Cross became the ultimate lesson in symmetry, proportion and balance.
Teaching Latin for 17 years unexpectedly prepared me for home staging, where every element must work in perfect harmony. I approach each project like an intricate puzzle to be solved: understanding how to highlight a home’s best features, create emotional connections for potential buyers, and transform spaces that not only look beautiful but feel instantly appealing. My Classical training taught me to see beyond current trends, focusing instead on timeless design principles that make spaces universally attractive.
As both an interior designer and home stager, my goal is to create environments that speak volumes. Whether preparing a home for sale or designing a personal living space, I craft narratives through carefully curated elements. I’m passionate about helping homeowners and sellers understand how strategic design can dramatically impact perception, value, and emotional response.
